Our Mission
To enrich and advance East Saint Louis as a cultural arts destination where residents and visitors see, hear, learn, and celebrate the city’s rich, multi-layered history and culture: and participate, contribute, and economically benefit from the cultural assets within the community.
ESLACC would serve as the liaison between the arts and businesses, government and educational institutions, and provide educational services for and about the art to benefit citizens, visitors, and the city’s equitable, sustainable economic development and cultural vitality.
Our Purpose
The purpose of ESLACC is to promote communication, cooperation, and support of the arts and culture in the city through marketing, advocacy, and education: to serve as the liaison between the community, government, and educational institutions.
Our Vision
As a community development coalition, ESLACC will use arts and culture to enhance the quality of life, advance equity, and promote asset-based economic development.
